Admission

Most of the courses are lectured in Chinese in the bachelor programs, and thus the applicants for bachelor programs must have Chinese language ability. The goal of this program is to enhance the students′ Chinese language ability first; during the first year the students will take the Chinese learning courses and then start their bachelor program only if they pass the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) Listening and Reading Test for Level 2 before the Chinese Learning Program ends. Besides, the students also have to pass TOCFL Listening and Reading Test for Level 3 before they start the second year of bachelor programs.

First Year of Chinese Learning Program	The student must take the 1-year Chinese learning courses from Monday to Friday in CMU Taichung campus. Before the 1-year Chinese Learning Program ends, the students must pass the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) Listening and Reading Test for Level 2 or they can′t enroll in the bachelor programs and will be withdrew from CMU.
Before the second year of bachelor program	The students must pass the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) Listening and Reading Test for Level 3.

First Year of Chinese Learning Program	China Medical University has a Chinese language training cooperation agreement with Providence University. Students will take Chinese courses at the main campus of China Medical University or Providence University according to the final arrangement of the Office of Global Affairs.

1^st Year of Bachelor Program	48,000	China Medical University has a Chinese language training cooperation agreement with Providence University. Students will live in the CMU Taichung main campus or Providence University dormitory according to the final arrangement of the Office of Global Affairs. The dormitory Housing fee for the CMU Taichung main campus is about NT$22,700~25,700 per person per semester, and the dormitory housing fee at Providence University is about NT$17,450 per person per semester (including dormitory fee, dormitory deposit, gymnasium usage fee and Internet fee).
